Hello! In Tuesday Folders today, your child should bring home information about the Hive Holiday Shop taking place next week.  Below is the same information for your reference. Teachers have assigned times to shop and the letter in Tuesday Folders will specify their dates.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The Hive Holiday Shop will begin on December 8th! We are so excited for our Bees to experience the joy of purchasing and giving gifts to their loved ones this holiday season! On Thursday or Friday of this week, students will be able to preview all the items in our shop and create a gift list with anticipated prices for each item. Start to discuss with your child about who they should be shopping for and about how much they should expect to spend on each person. Our shop will offer over 100 different items ranging in price from $0.50 to $14.50.  Please ensure that cash or check is enclosed in the budget envelope that will be sent home with them after their preview day.  Securing money in this envelope will make it easier for our parent volunteers to help your child checkout during their designated shopping time. 

Cash is preferred, but checks should be made payable to: Dixie Bee Elementary.

*If we run out of a student’s desired items and any replacement items are purchased, checks written for amounts higher than the purchase total will be refunded the difference. However, students WILL NOT be able to purchase items totaling more than the written check amount.  

Please ensure that your child returns their Budget Envelope with them on or before their shopping date.
